Meet Teresa –Audiologist and Founder of In2 Hearing
Teresa brings more than 25 years of experience in audiology to In2 Hearing, with a career that spans both hospital and community settings in China and Australia.
Her audiology career began in Shanghai, China, where she worked for eight years at the Shanghai Eye, Ear, Nose & Throat Hospital, followed by two years at the Shanghai Oriental Children’s Hospital. In 2003, Teresa migrated to Australia as a skilled professional to further her studies and clinical experience.
She completed a Master’s degree in Clinical Audiology at the University of Melbourne by the end of 2005 and soon after joined Monash Medical Centre as a paediatric audiologist. Four years later, she transitioned to Hearservice (now known as Expression Audiology), a not-for-profit clinic under the Victorian Deaf Society, where she spent 13 years focusing on adult hearing rehabilitation. In this role, she supported clients with a wide range of hearing loss and from diverse backgrounds, helping them improve communication and regain confidence in their daily lives.
In 2023, Teresa relocated to Darwin and founded In2 Hearing, an independent audiology practice built on her commitment to clinical excellence and personalised care. In December 2024, she moved the practice to North Adelaide, South Australia, where she continues to provide professional, compassionate hearing services to the community.
Experience and Expertise
Before establishing In2 Hearing, Teresa worked extensively in both diagnostic and rehabilitative audiology:
- 14 years of hospital-based experience, collaborating with paediatricians and ENT specialists, and
- 13 years of experience in hearing aid fitting and adult hearing rehabilitation.
At In2 Hearing, Teresa combines these areas of expertise to deliver comprehensive hearing care — from detailed diagnostic assessments to tailored rehabilitation programs that enhance hearing and communication in everyday life.

Outside of work, Teresa enjoys spending time in nature and is a passionate bushwalker. She also loves cooking, experimenting with new recipes, and sharing meals with family and friends.
She lives with her partner, Peter, and together they love exploring the beautiful landscapes and towns of South Australia — a place they are proud to now call home.
